Welcoming New Arrivals

Year R September 2021 Admissions 
We would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our new families, we can’t wait to meet you all!  Our weekly outdoor transition sessions during this summer term will take place on the following mornings:

  • Wednesday 16th June
  • Wednesday 23rd June
  • Wednesday 30th June
  • Wednesday 7th July
  • Wednesday 14th July

More details on these sessions are detailed in our Induction Sessions plan. We are also pleased to be able share our admission plans for September 2021.

The Hampshire Library Service have a range of book suggestions for you and your child to share, more details are available on their flyer. They are also running a free online course via Zoom entitled ‘Let’s Get Ready For School!’. More details, including dates and how to book, are available on this HLS Lets Get Ready for School! leaflet.
HC3S provide a 3 week lunch rotation, to see what we is currently on offer to all children and for some more details about H3CS please read through this leaflet. You can also look online for more details. If your child has any dietary needs please ensure this is noted on their registration form. Cool Milk provide all under 5’s with milk. Should you wish your child to continue to have milk in school after their 5th birthday please contact Cool Milk directly to arrange this – their Parent Information Leaflet 2021 has more details.
Wraparound care: we are pleased to be able to offer childcare with both an on-site breakfast and after school club; more details are available on the Breakfast and After School Clubs page, under Parents & CHIPS. If you are thinking of using this facility when your child starts in September then please let us know as soon possible. 
School Uniform and Accessories: The wearing of school uniform is voluntary but should you wish your child to wear appropriate items, the uniform is as follows:

  • Winter: Scarlet sweatshirts, scarlet cardigans and grey trousers or skirts with white polo shirts. Dark coloured jogging pants may also be worn.
  • Summer: Red and white checked dresses. Short grey trousers and white polo shirts.

Polo shirts, cardigans and sweatshirts bearing the school logo, together with P.E. shorts and book bags, are available on-line from Marks and Spencer and also from Skoolkit in Fareham. For Year R children there is no requirement to bring in P.E. kit initially. However, we do ask that you provide a full set of waterproofs and a pair of wellington boots. Please label all clothes clearly, including shoes and boots.
