Welcome to Crofton Hammond Infant School Website.
I am delighted to be able to introduce myself as the new Headteacher of this wonderful school. I feel extremely honoured and privileged to have been chosen to build upon the success the school has already achieved.
As the leader of the school, my main priority is to ensure that our children are happy and safe. The wellbeing of the children and staff is already at the heart of the school and this is something I will continue to invest in. Crofton Hammond has strong academic outcomes and we know that this is because the children are in the best place to learn and the teachers are in the best place to teach.
I strongly believe in providing the children with exciting and creative learning experiences, which build their enthusiasm for learning and help them to grow in a variety of ways. Ensuring that our children are able to share their ideas and listen to each other, as well as being able to think critically and creatively is key. When the children leave Crofton Hammond Infant School, they need to be ready for the next stage of their journey in education.
Whilst at our school, every child will get many exciting opportunities such as weekly Forest School, a highly qualified PE and sports coach and a variety of school trips and visitors. Our focus is on ensuring that our children develop the learning behaviours to become lifelong learners. A ‘Crofton Hammond Learner’ is curious, adventurous, caring, unique and ambitious and, most of all, has fun!
